Dog Fouling is an issue in this Parish.
Dog Fouling is an issue in this Parish.

A number of people are not clearing up after their dogs, or using the dog bins provided by the Parish Council. The Parish Office has a number of plastic bags for the purpose. Pick up one when the Office is open or face a penalty from the Enforcement Officer. If you would like to comment on this issue then please use our feedback form.

Parish Council supports under 9's football

The Parish Council will be sponsoring the under 9’s football team this year. They are starting to play competitive 7-a-side football for the first time this season. Their season starts on Sunday 2nd September. Many of the young players will have gone through the trainee system at Glen Villa, where they join from about the age of 5 or 6, and ‘train’ with some coaches on Sunday mornings between 10.30 am and 12pm. The under 9’s team managers are Grant and Gary, who take the players for team training on the recreation ground each Thursday before the season starts. It is hoped to arrange a photo shoot soon for the teams.
